Gym FAQ
Do I have to follow your training programs to be a member?
Nope! We have standard memberships that include 24/7 access to the facility without the need to be one of our clients.
Do you have showers?
Yes! Our most recent renovation allowed us to add showers in the men’s and women’s bathrooms plus individual locking changing rooms separate from the bathrooms.
What kind of equipment do you have?
We spend a lot of time and effort selecting and bringing in the best equipment available. We will be working on a comprehensive list of everything available but in the meantime:
Tons of various plates including competition powerlifting and olympic lifting plates.
A vast selection of barbells including specialty bars.
10+ squat racks and and 4 Olympic/Deadift platforms.
A large array of machines inluding top of the line modern machines from Prime, Arsenal and Hammer Strength to older machines known to be the best machines ever made including some from Body Masters, Cybex, Strive, etc.
A full line up of cardio equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, Stairmasters, bikes, rowers, etc. Plus, we have a large section of turf for sleds and conditioning workouts.
Do I have to be in good shape to start a program?
Nope! Our programs are designed to be used for people at all levels of strength and fitness whether you have never been in a gym or have dedicated years to it. Everyone has to start somewhere and the sooner the better. Many of our clients who are achieving their fitness goals right now started exactly where you are!
Is this a CrossFit gym?
Although we respect the ideas behind CrossFit and what it has done for the fitness industry, this is not a CrossFit gym. We use similar equipment at times and we do use high intensity training techniques in some of our programs but we do not follow CrossFit programming with our clients unless it is requested. We also have an abundance of machines and cardio equipment that you wouldn’t find in a CrossFit gym. Our facility is also available 24 hours to all members and participation in our training programs is not required for membership.
How many days per week should I train?
This depends on each individual. We recommend setting up an appointment to meet with a trainer to discuss the program that would best suit you. You can see great results from training 2 days each week or 6 days each week; you have to find what works best for you.
What are the hours available for training membership sessions?
We have trainers available for small group sessions from 5am to 10am and 3pm to 8pm Monday through Friday. We use an open schedule so you can come in at any point during those hours to get your training session in! All of our memberships also include 24/7 access to the gym so you can get a workout in on your own schedule.
What times are available for One-on-One sessions?
Our trainers schedule their one-on-ones by appointment and availability. We recommend setting up an appointment to meet with a trainer to schedule these sessions.
Do I need to sign a contract?
We offer a variety of non-contract membership options to suit your specific needs. For non-contract memberships, we ask for 2 weeks’ notice for cancels or holds.
What if I need to cancel my membership?
Typically, we ask for membership cancellations to be done in person. If you are unable to do so in person, you are also able to mail a letter to our physical address. Keep in mind, to satisfy the two weeks’ notice cancellation policy, the letter would need to be postmarked two weeks prior to your next billing date. We also have membership holds available for up to 3 months if you plan on returning.
